Customizing Content
The rich-text, graphics, video etc. HTML/CSS content on your form can be customized in several ways:
- Selecting a specific Page Template, on the Splash Page tab, for example to use a de-branded template or one highly customized for a particular workplace.
- Editing additional header content on the form in the Donation Page Header editor on the Checkout Page tab. The content appears just above the dynamic form content defined in the form template.
- Editing your form template itself. This requires scripting permission and is generally not recommended. Contact help@donorpoint.com for issues related to customizing the form template.
All rich-text content can make use of merge tags. The following variables are in context when the form is being rendered:
- contact – the current contact
- purchaseOrder – the current transaction
- In addition the messages variable contains the externalized text on the Checkout Form->Custom Fields Properties list.
Your template will include other customization options set up during your DonorPoint configuration, such as placements of Organization name, logo, header and custom fields, and integration codes on the form. Content for these fields will be edited on the Organization edit view and the Integration tab of the workplace campaign form, respectively.
