Customizing the Contact Fields

The Checkout Form->Contact Fields tab includes all default DonorPoint contact fields plus your account-specific contact fields. You have the following options to change the contact field settings on the tab by using the popup editor. The most common options are:

• Prompt – the text label for the field
• Input – whether the field is visible, optional or required. Note that for address fields the choice of payment method on the form may override this property, making fields required (e.g. for credit cards payments)
• Rendered Rule – script specifying when the field is shown
• Required Rule – script to override the settings of an optional field
• ReRender All Contact Fields on Change? – whether to re-render all fields (executing any Rendered Rules and Required Rules)

You can change the order of fields on the form by using the arrows on the contact fields table.
