How can I issue a full refund on a transaction?

  1. Click on TRANSACTIONS in the gray menubar on the left side of the page. Locate the transaction by entering the donor’s name in the SEARCH box on the top right side of the screen. Or you can use the filter icon and search for the donor using their name, email address, or any other transaction information you have.
    • If multiple donations from the same donor are returned in the search be sure you select the correct transaction, usually by checking the date of the transaction.
  2. Open the transaction by clicking on Edit.
  3. From the TASKS menu on the right side of the screen select REFUND TRANSACTION. Confirm that you want to continue.

A new transaction with the negative amount of the refunded transaction will be created and you will be returned to the list of the transactions.
