Autoresponders

Autoresponders are email templates that fire automatically in response to specific events — a transaction, a recurring payment status change, an account activation. Every form, recurring donation schedule, event, auction, and membership type has its own set of autoresponders.

Accessing Autoresponders

From a form: open the form → Confirmation Email tab → click the pencil icon to open the email center.

Or navigate directly: Email → Autoresponders → filter by type.

Event, Auction, Membership, and Account autoresponders

Each activity type has its own email collection with context-appropriate templates.

Scripting in Autoresponders

Autoresponder scripts run when the email instance is generated from the template — once per recipient. See Scripting in Email and Scripting Contexts.
